Scoring System, Women’s volleyball
A point is scored when the ball is grounded on the opponent’s court or when the opposing team commits a fault. A team must win two out of three sets to win a match. A set is typically played to 25 points, with a two-point advantage needed to win. If the score reaches 24-24, the set continues until one team has a two-point advantage.
Penalties
Several penalties can be called during a game, including:
- Foot Fault: When a player steps on or over the boundary line while serving or hitting the ball.
